Big inning pushes Lancers past Knox LAKEVILLE - LaVille’s Lancers pounded out 13 hits and rode an 11 run sixth inning to a big HNAC win over Knox by a 15-5 final. Trailing by a run headed to the bottom of the sixth the Lancers pounded out seven hits off relievers Brock Amidei and Zac Rose to plate 11 runs. Knox starter Kolin Mann went four innings giving up three earned runs and striking out eight. LaVille starter Nick Moore went the distance scattering nine hits giving up three earned runs and striking out seven. Connor Wieczorek was four for four with two RBI’s for LaVille including a pair of doubles. Robby Pope had a pair of hits and three RBI’s and Devon Schoff had a double and two RBI’s as part of a two hit night. Paden Shidler had three hits and three RBI’s for Knox.
