The Lawrenceville basketball Indians continue to roll right along.
The Tribe notched their sixth straight victory and are now 15-6 after a quarterfinal win Saturday 70-54 over Mt Carmel in the Little Illini Conference (LIC) boys tournament at Lawrenceville High School.
Lawrenceville placed four in double figures led by Zander Cessna with 18 points, Noah Wilson with 15, Maddox Pargin with 12 and Jayden Goff with 11.
The Indians will meet Casey Westfield in the semifinals Tuesday at 7:30 p.m.
Casey-Westfield rallied to beat Newton 58-53 Saturday.
Paris beat Marshall 58-49 and Richland County (Olney) blasted Robinson 78-42 in the other quarterfinals.
Consolation bracket play for the losers takes place Monday starting at 6 p.m.
Robinson will play Marshall followed by Mt. Carmel-Newton.
