Woodlawn Health is excited to announce that Dr. Timothy Hamberg, DO, has assumed the role of emergency department director for the health system, in partnership with Concord Medical Group.
“We are very pleased with our partnership with Concord Medical Group and the promotion of Dr. Hamburg to medical director for our emergency department. This is just one of the many things we are doing to earn the right to care for our patients and community,” Chief Nursing Officer Paula McKinney said.
Hamburg earned his medical degree from Lincoln Memorial University, DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harrogate, Tenn. He completed his residency training in emergency medicine at Midwestern University, Kingman Regional Medical Center in Kingman, Ariz. Hamburg is board-certified. He and his family reside in Valparaiso.
“I am so grateful to be working with an outstanding group of professionals and caring for the Fulton and surrounding communities. I look forward to joining the Woodlawn team for many more years to come,” Dr. Hamburg stated.
