A 48-year-old Warsaw man was transported to a South Bend hospital on Saturday afternoon after suffering multiple injuries in a dog attack at a Marshall County property.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, Deputy Smith and the Plymouth Ambulance Service responded to a 911 call regarding an animal complaint at 2:57 p.m. on Saturday, March 28. The incident occurred at a residence located at 8138 Rose Road, west of Plymouth.
Authorities report that the victim, identified as Dustin Manns, was inside a camper at the rear of the property when he was attacked by a Pitbull. Manns sustained multiple bite wounds across his arms and legs during the encounter.
Following the attack, emergency medical personnel transported Manns to Memorial Hospital in South Bend for treatment of his injuries.
According to Marshall County GIS records, the property where the incident took place is owned by Victoria Kelsey.
