The Wabash County Sheriff's Department reports that at around 6:30 a.m. on Wednesday, August 27th, officers and deputies from the Evansville Police Department, Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Department, and the U.S. Marshals Service apprehended 32-year-old Devin Brittian in Evansville, Indiana.
Brittian was being sought on an active arrest warrant out of Wabash County, Illinois and was taken into custody without incident. He remains incarcerated in the Vanderburgh County Indiana Jail and is being held there pending extradition back to Illinois to face charges under the warrant.
Wabash County Sherriff J. Derek Morgan issued a statement praising the arrest as the result of a strong partnership between law enforcement agencies across state lines and thanked those involved for their work in locating and apprehending Brittian.
