Lawrence County law enforcement authorities dealt with two domestic cases over the weekend.
Saturday, Lawrenceville Police arrested 27-year-old Makayla May of Lawrenceville for Domestic Battery after being called out to a city residence. She was booked into the Lawrence County Jail on the charge and was being held there pending a detention hearing.
Sunday, the Lawrence County Sheriff's Department was dispatched to the scene of a fracas and took into custody 22-year-old Drayden Bright of Sumner. He was preliminarily charged with Domestic Battery and Aggravated Battery at the scene. Bright was booked into the Lawrence County Jail and was being held pending a detention hearing.
