Waldron's Hometown Community Advisory Board, a part of the Blue River Community Foundation, is sponsoring a "Give Back to Your Community Day" on Monday in Waldron.
This is the 11th year for the volunteer event staged along with Waldron High School seniors. A list of projects is available on projects throughout the town of Waldron that they hope to accomplish on Monday.
Waldron's Hometown Community Advisory Board needs and welcomes adult volunteers and donations. Anyone interested or have questions please reach out to Judy Kuhn, kuhn.28@hotmail.com or just show up to work on Monday. People are invited to meet on the west side of Waldron High School near the electronic sign between 8:15-8:30 a.m. Instructions will be given. Some of the items on the list include planting flowers, pulling weeds, painting, sweeping streets and parking lots, picking up trash and sticks, assembling trash containers and new U.S. flags for Waldron's Freedom Fest.
