A prowler faces voyeurism charges following a late night arrest in Cass County.
During the past weekend, Cass County Central Dispatch received numerous calls of a prowler dressed all in black in the Marleton Hills and Walnut Ridge areas.
The sheriff’s department and Logansport Police coordinated a joint investigation. Late Sunday evening, law enforcement initiated several surveillance locations in the area of the previous encounters. Logansport Police provided drone coverage of the area where officers were stationed.
Just after 11 p.m., a person was observed by the drone operator walking through wooded areas of the targeted neighborhood. Deputies apprehended the person after a brief foot pursuit. The suspect was identified as Ricky Arion, 58, of Logansport.
Arion was taken to the Cass County Detention Center on charges including:
4 counts – Voyeurism, Level 6 felony
4 counts – Attempted voyeurism, Level 6 felony
A misdemeanor – Resisting law enforcement and four counts Trespassing
The case remains under investigation. Anyone with information or home surveillance video is asked to call the Cass County Sheriff’s Office at 574-753-7800.
