A Vincennes man was taken into custody Sunday in connection with a report of shots fired at a city residence.
Preliminary reports from police indicate officers responded to the scene and arrested Jeremy Penrod on a preliminary charge of Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon. He was taken to the Knox County Indiana Jail and was later released after posting bond.
Authorities say that the incident remains under investigation with no other details being released.
