A caucus has been set in Knox County (Ind.) to select the replacement who will complete the unexpired term of former Commissioner Kelly Streeter.
Knox County Clerk David Shelton announced that Streeter submitted her resignation as commissioner on Tuesday, November 3rd, shortly after she was elected as the new Indiana State Representative for District 45 following the 2026 mid-term election.
On that day, voters in Knox County elected Matt Hoffman to fill Streeter's commissioners' seat on January 1st, 2027, but someone is still needed to fill the position until then.
Shelton says that the Republican caucus will be held on Tuesday, November 24th at 6 p.m. ET at the Knox County Courthouse in Superior Court 1, located on the second floor.
