Plymouth Police arrested two Argos men on Friday, for possession of methamphetamine.
During the afternoon of March 1st, Officer Witkowski performed a traffic stop on a red Pontiac Trans Am on U.S. 30 eastbound.
With assistance from a Marshall County Drug Task Force Officer, police located more than 10 grams of methamphetamine inside the vehicle.
Both 70-year-old Michael John Bobby and 55-year-old Craig Scott Shireman, of Argos, are charged with possession of methamphetamine. They were transported to the Marshall County Jail. Shireman was held on a $10,000 cash bond. Bobby Michael was able to bond out at 5:30 Friday evening after posting his $1,500 cash bond.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
