TERRE HAUTE, Indiana (DLC Media) - A Terre Haute man was arrested from his residence yesterday afternoon due to an active warrant. The warrant was from a charge of felony intimidation and invasion of privacy in the neighborhood._x000D_ _x000D_ The man, 43-year-old Jason C Childress initiated a standoff at the residence located on the 2500 block of Dillman Street. Police were asking traffic to avoid the area at the time of the arrest due to the nature of the charges. The special response team and negotiators were brought in to handle the arrest. According to the THPD, it took around an hour before Childress surrendered himself peacefully.
