The Bodega will be open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Already established as successful business owners with The Whisk, Tosh and Joel Everson are bringing another need to Greencastle in the form of a new bodega.
"The Bodega, like The Whisk, was birthed out of a sense of community. Having lived here our whole lives, we often think what does Greencastle need? The Bodega is an answer to that in what it will offer, hopefully bringing goods people want and need," Tosh Everson told The Putnam County Post.
According to Everson, a bodega, traditionally, provides convenience type items while serving hot and prepared foods with ethnic market influences and can be found in various big cities, especially on the street corners of New York city.
"They are known for their friendly atmospheres and colorful character. That's what we hope to have, while tailoring our store to our particular community," she said.
Everson said people can expect "incredibly delicious breakfast and lunch sandwiches" when they visit, including popular items from The Whisk like the pimento cheese and crackers and snack mix, spices, dry goods, vegetarian forward salads and dips, sweet treats and more.
The Bodega will be open Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
