The city of Sumner has announced that there will be a water shutdown Thursday March 13 for some city customers.
Residents on Christy Avenue/Sumner Road will experience a disruption of service from Christy/Cherry Street south to the Red Hill Raceway.
This is due to tie-in work being done as part of the new water main project.
A boil order will be in effect for the affected area until further notice.
