Susan Brocksmith from Knox County has been elected as the 2026 president of the Indiana Corn Marketing Council (ICMC), the state's corn checkoff program.
Brocksmith and her husband Mike grow corn and soybeans on their farm near Vincennes. She is also the Dean of the College of Business and Public Service at Vincennes University.
She served as the ICMC board secretary in 2025 and follows Greensburg, Indiana farmer Tim Gauck who completed two years as president. Brocksmith in a statement released after her election said she is honored to serve as the organization's president and looks forward to focusing on helping the hardworking corn farmers across Indiana.
