Plymouth Police used surveillance video to identify the suspect and recover stolen property.
Plymouth Police arrested a South Bend woman after investigating a theft at Lowe's.
The theft occurred last week at Lowe's in Plymouth. On Friday, Oct. 23, at approximately 4 p.m., Officer Thornton responded to Lowe's and obtained surveillance video showing both the suspect and the suspect's vehicle.
Using the footage, Officer Thornton identified the suspect as Lisa L. Gushwa, 63, of South Bend. Most of the stolen property was also recovered.
Gushwa was lodged in the Marshall County Jail on two charges: theft, a Level 6 felony, and theft by pickpocketing, a Level 5 felony. She was held on a $5,000 cash bond.
The investigation was conducted by Officer Thornton. No additional details about the theft or the recovered property were released.
