The Indiana Department of Transportation announces several traffic impacts that will affect the U.S. 231 and Market Street intersection and surrounding areas in Cloverdale.
Beginning on or after Monday, May 4, shoulder closures will impact the U.S. 231 & Market Street intersection. Columbus and Water Streets will be impacted by shoulder closures intermittently during construction in addition to the full-time impacts at Market Street. The purpose of construction is for traffic signal modernization, curb and sidewalk concrete work, and utility work. During construction, a 3-day closure will impact Market Street at a time that will be announced at a later date.
The project is anticipated to be complete by September but is weather-dependent and subject to change. INDOT encourages drivers to exercise caution and avoid distractions in and around work zones.
