A Plymouth was arrested on Sunday for interference with reporting a crime.
Sunday afternoon, at 4:30 on October 19, Plymouth Police responded to the area of Ewing Street and Miner Street for the reports of a verbal altercation.
Officer Thornton arrived and determined that Ryan Castro, 46, of the 100 block of Ewing Street, had interfered with the other party while they were attempting to call the police.
Castro was transported to the Marshall County Jail at 4:58 p.m. and booked in for interference with the reporting of a crime. His cash bond was posted at 6:04 p.m. and he was released on bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
