Indiana State Police initiated a criminal investigation after receiving information that a female, under the age of 14, had been molested.
The investigation revealed that Zachary T. Sampson, 34, of Rosedale, allegedly molested a female under the age of 14.
After reviewing the investigation, the Parke County Prosecutor’s Office requested an arrest warrant for Sampson. Parke County Circuit Court granted an arrest warrant on March 2. Sampson was arrested on the active warrant, without incident. Charges include two Level 4 Felony counts of child molesting and a Level 5 Felony of child solicitation.
He is currently being held in the Parke County Jail with no bond allowed.
The investigating officers are Indiana State Police Trooper Detectives Colton Maynor and James Crisp of the Putnamville Post with assistance from Susie’s Place and the Parke County Sheriff’s Department.
