Riddell National Bank is proud to announce the purchase and reopening of the former First Financial Bank branch in Rockville.
The announcement was made during a press conference held on-site by Steve Kidwell, President and CEO of Riddell National Bank.
“At a time when other banks are closing branches, it feels great to be holding a press conference to announce the reopening of one,” said Kidwell. “We are excited to bring the Riddell National Bank brand of banking to this location and to begin serving the residents and businesses of Rockville and greater Parke County.”
The move into Parke County is part of a meaningful expansion for Riddell National Bank, which will celebrate its 140th anniversary in 2025. Founded in 1885, the bank has built a legacy of financial strength, community commitment, and a personalized, “old-school”
approach to customer service.
“Parke County is known for its rich history, strong values, and vibrant small-town spirit — qualities that align perfectly with who we are as a community bank,” said Kidwell. “We believe in knowing our customers by name, being a visible part of the community, and
supporting local growth and prosperity.”
The new Rockville location will offer a full range of personal and business banking services, with a focus on local decision-making and community involvement.
Riddell National Bank will announce opening dates and additional details in the coming weeks. Community members are encouraged to follow the bank's website and social media for updates.
