The Putnam County Community Foundation (PCCF) announced the recipients of its 2025 scholarship awards.
More than 50 students from across Putnam County were selected to receive financial support for their post-secondary education, with total awards exceeding $260,000.
Each scholarship was made possible through the generosity of local donors who have established endowed scholarship funds administered by PCCF. These funds are designed to support students pursuing a variety of educational goals, from vocational training and associate degrees to bachelor’s and advanced degrees.
PCCF’s dedicated a Scholarship Committee, made up of eleven community volunteers, to ensure a fair and thorough review process. Scholarships are then approved by PCCF’s Board of Directors.
“We are incredibly proud of our scholarship recipients and grateful to the donors who make this opportunity possible,” said Dean Gambill, Director of Community Development. “These scholarships not only ease the financial burden for students and families but also celebrate the hard work, perseverance, and community spirit of our local youth.”
