Lawrence Unit #20 and the Regional Office of Education (ROE) #12 have announced that there will be preschool screenings for local youth coming up in late April.
The development screenings on Tuesday, April 28th and Wednesday, April 29th will be for children ages 3-4 and the child must be 3 by the date of April 28th. These screenings will be used to determine if a child is eligible for the free Preschool Program. Areas to be tested include speech and language, motor skills, cognitive and social skills and vision and hearing.
The screenings will be done by appointment only at Parkside Elementary School at 1900 Cedar Street in Lawrenceville. Those interested can call (618) 544-2719 to schedule one.
