An Ohio man is lodged in the Marshall County Jail on a $10,000 cash bond for inappropriate communications with a child and child solicitation.
On Tuesday, Corporal Baker and Officer Lovely with the Plymouth Police Department responded to 2513 North Michigan Street, the Comfort Suites, for the report of child solicitation.
During the officer's investigation, it was determined that the suspect, David McCrosky, 33, of Curtice, Ohio, was sending sexually explicit messages and photos to what he believed to be a 13-year-old male.
McCrosky was taken into custody and booked into the Marshall County Jail for child solicitation and inappropriate communication with a minor.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
