Plymouth Police initiated a Warrant Service call at 409 Pierce Street on Thursday, August 29th.
The search warrant was for 34-year-old Cesar Rangel, who was known to have an outstanding felony warrant from Marshall County. Officers located Rangel at the Pierce Street residence and took him into custody without incident. He was booked into the county jail on an outstanding felony warrant and held on a $3,000 cash bond.

While officers were at the Pierce Street home, they checked on two other subjects in a vehicle outside and found they had suspected methamphetamine and paraphernalia.
Gilberto Aguilar, 32, of Middlebury, was booked into the jail for possession of methamphetamine, false informing, maintaining a common nuisance, and possession of paraphernalia and held on a $1,500 cash bond.

Shayna Ortiz, 28, of Elkhart, was booked for possession of a hypodermic needle or syringe and maintaining a common nuisance. She was held on a $1,500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury, at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
