Plymouth Police Officers arrested an Akron man for driving while suspended with a prior conviction and a New York man for driving without ever receiving a license.
On Monday, Officer Fisher conducted a traffic stop at about 7:50 p.m. on a vehicle where the owner had warrants.
The driver was identified as John Craig, 40, of Akron and the officer determined that Craig's driver's license had been suspended prior. He was arrested for driving while suspended with a prior charge within 10 years. Craig was transported to Marshall County Jail and held on a cash bond until about 1 a.m. Tuesday morning when he was released on bond.

Sergeant Tim Taberski was southbound on Oak Drive north of U.S. 30 Tuesday at about 2:15 a.m. when he observed a vehicle southbound with what appeared to be its bright lights on as it approached him. As the vehicle passed, he observed that the vehicle didn’t have an operating license plate light.
The vehicle pulled into the Murphy's USA lot and then pulled out back onto Oak Drive and proceeded southbound. Officer Taberski then pulled in behind the vehicle and they continued south in the passing lane of Oak Drive. The vehicle then made a sudden change to the right lane without signaling and a traffic stop was initiated.
Alexander Jose Corro Rangel, 23, from New York was found to have never been issued a valid driver’s license. He was then placed under arrest and transported to the Marshall County Jail and booked in at 3:16 a.m., paid the cash bond and released at 3:42 a.m.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
