Plymouth High School is inviting the community to dive into an underwater adventure as students bring the beloved children’s story Rainbow Fish to life on stage October 30–31.
The production will feature a colorful underwater world and a heartwarming message about friendship, kindness, and the importance of sharing. Through this familiar story, audiences of all ages can enjoy a meaningful theatrical experience while supporting Plymouth High School students' creativity and talent.
Featured student leads in the production include Waylon Pitts, Audi Flores, Lance Weldon, and Brylie Workman. Behind the scenes, the production also showcases the collaborative effort that makes school theatre possible. Students in PHS Tech Theatre classes contribute their time and skills to stage crew and other production responsibilities, with students ranging from freshmen to seniors gaining hands-on experience. The production also welcomes students who simply have a passion for theatre and want to be part of bringing a story to life.
From the performers on stage to the students working behind the scenes, each participant plays an important role in creating the final production. These opportunities allow students to explore their interests, develop new skills, work as a team, and share their creativity with the community.
“We’re excited to welcome the community and share the hard work and creativity our students have put into this production,” said Meagan R. Pugh, Theater and Auditorium Director
Community members and families are encouraged to attend one of the two performances at Plymouth High School: Friday, October 30, at 6:30 p.m., or Saturday, October 31, at 2 p.m.
Admission is $5 per person, cash only.
Plymouth Community School Corporation is proud to provide opportunities for students to discover and develop their talents, whether in the spotlight or behind the scenes. Community members are encouraged to attend, support PHS theatre, and enjoy this special production of Rainbow Fish.
