Plymouth driver arrested for traveling at 115 MPH on U.S. 31

On Tuesday, January 13th, just before 5 A.M., Marshall County Officer Wozniak observed a vehicle traveling southbound on U.S. 31 from 14th Road at 115 MPH in a posted 60 MPH zone.

The officer was able to get the vehicle stopped at U.S. 31 and State Road 10.

The driver, 31-year-old Krystal S. Hardy of Hillside Drive in Plymouth, was taken into custody for reckless driving and was transported to the Marshall County Jail. She was booked into the jail at 5:22 A.M., and her $100 cash bond was posted at 5:39 A.M., and she was released.

 

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is a mere allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
