The Plymouth High School Speech and Debate Team will sponsor a Plymouth Community School Corporation School Board Candidates night this Thursday, October 17, from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Lincoln Education Center's Auditorium. All eight candidates have been invited to participate. The speech and debate members created six questions for each candidate to respond to. These questions are based on the Indiana School Board's Core Values.
This is the second time the PHS Speech and Debate Team has sponsored a school board candidate night. They also held one for the 2022 school board election. Seniors Tyler Travis and Dariel Hererra will be involved in the evening. Dariel Hererra will MC the evening by introducing the evening and introducing each candidate. Tyler Travis will ask the questions and time their responses. Candidates will have 3 minutes to answer each of the six questions.
All voting members of Plymouth are invited to attend. Please do not bring signs to the event. Also, if attending they ask the audience to refrain from yelling during the evening.
