Phillip R. Milton, a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 8th, 2025, at the age of 68, surrounded by his loving family in his hometown of Plymouth, IN. Phillip was born on May 23rd, 1957, to the late Roy and Vivian (Crippin) Milton.
After graduating from Plymouth High School in the class of 1976, Phillip dedicated over four decades of his life to precision and craftsmanship as a mold builder mainly working for Bremen Composites.
Phillip's loved his dogs, Lucy and Ziggy, who were often by his side as he worked in his well-tended yard, taking pride in the beauty he cultivated around his home.
Above all, Phillip's pride and joy were his grandchildren. Whether he was sharing stories, playing games, or just spending quiet time together, every moment with his grandkids was a treasure he held close to his heart. Their laughter was the sweetest music to his ears, and their milestones became his own cherished celebrations.
Phillip is survived by a loving family: his devoted son, Phillip J. Milton, his daughter Brooke (Aaron) Dudeck, and his cherished grandchildren, Phillip S. Milton, Collin Milton, Hailey Milton, and his adored great-grandchildren, Adilynn, Phillip J., and Paisley. He is also survived by his beloved sister, Patricia Shumaker, and his brother, Dave Milton, who will all miss him profoundly. Phillip was preceded by his brothers, Rick, John, and Mike Milton.
At this time per Phillip’s wishes, there will be no formal service. Palmer Funeral Home – Lakeville Chapel is assisting the family with final arrangements.
