Palmer Funeral Homes officially announced on Monday that it has purchased the building at 300 West Madison Street, the former location of VanGilder Funeral Home, and will expand its operations into Plymouth and Marshall County.
Palmer Funeral Home is a family-owned company that has been serving South Bend, Mishawaka, Lakeville, and North Liberty since 1968. With traditions of kindness, integrity, and family values, we are proud to be part of the Plymouth community. We are eager to serve your family with the same values that have allowed us to become an industry leader in the area for six decades.
Palmer Funeral Home employs several residents of Plymouth who are actively involved in the community. Funeral Directors Brandon Cooper and Aaron Wagers, as well as support staff members Craig Miller and Bruce Knapp, are likely names familiar to you- and are just a small part of our talented and caring staff.
Feel free to call or reach out to us with questions at 574-936-2534. In the coming weeks, we will be planning an open house for you to visit our facility.
