The driver of the Focus, Matthew Sams, of Linton, was killed in the crash.
A man was killed in a head-on collision on SR 67 Thursday morning.
About 6:30 a.m., Knox County deputies and emergency personnel responded to SR 67 at Huey Road, near Sandborn, in northern Knox County.
Initial reports indicate that a Ford Focus crossed the center line and collided head-on with a Ford F150. The driver of the Focus, Matthew Sams, of Linton, was killed in the crash. The driver of the truck, Aaron Cornelius, of Montgomery, was transported to Good Samaritan Hospital and underwent surgery.
The crash remains under investigation.
