The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a new traffic pattern that will impact U.S. 231 through Crawfordsville between I-74 and Market Street.
Beginning on or after Friday, August 15, traffic will shift from the northbound lanes into the southbound lanes for the next phase of an ongoing resurfacing and structure replacement project. Construction will conclude with single-lane closures later this year with traffic being brought back to its original configuration. Work is anticipated to last until October but is weather-dependent and subject to change.
INDOT encourages drivers to slow down, use caution, and avoid distracted driving through this and all work zones.
