Knauf Insulation, Inc., a leading North American manufacturer of fiberglass insulation, has announced the addition of a new, dedicated blowing wool line at its Shelbyville, IN fiberglass insulation manufacturing facility.
The new line is expected to be commissioned in the second quarter of 2026.

According to ICF Research, 89% of U.S. homes are under-insulated. Insulating a single home can lead to significant energy savings as well as money in the pocket for contractors and homeowners by taking advantage of currently available tax credits.

Knauf’s newly introduced Performance+® portfolio of fiberglass insulation products are Asthma & Allergy Friendly® Certified and Verified Healthier Air™, after extensive third-party scientific testing of a product’s ability to reduce allergen exposure and limit pollutants in the indoor environment.
