With a number of inmates from other counties the Fulton County Jail continues to, in effect, help pay for its own construction.
Fulton County Commissioner Bryan Lewis says Grant County is the county with the most inmates housed in Fulton County. Monies paid to Fulton County contribute to paying for the construction.
Lewis says the account has a surplus currently.
