Plymouth Motor Speedway is gearing up for one of the biggest nights in recent memory this Saturday as monster trucks, the National Compact Touring Series, and the All-Star National Pavement Midget Series all converge on the three-quarter-mile asphalt oval for a night of high-octane racing action.
Headlining the event is NASCAR star Ryan Newman, the former Daytona 500 winner and South Bend native, who will return to his hometown roots to compete in the All-Star National Pavement Midget Series. Newman won't be racing alone — his 12-year-old daughter, Brooklyn, will also be behind the wheel, setting up what could be one of the most memorable father-daughter matchups the Speedway has ever seen.

Also competing in the midget series is three-time World of Outlaws champion Sammy Swindell, a fan favorite who is sure to draw crowds eager to watch one of open-wheel racing's all-time greats in action.
Saturday's card marks the first appearance of the National Compact Touring Series at Plymouth Motor Speedway in 13 years, a long-awaited return that has already generated significant buzz among racing fans across the region. Drivers from Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, and Minnesota have registered to compete, setting the stage for a fierce interstate showdown on one of the Midwest's premier short tracks.
Adding even more intrigue to the compact event, competitors from the Vores Compact Touring Series Powered by Mercer County Electric will also go head-to-head with the National Compacts, making it one of the most competitive compact racing events of the 2026 season.
Rounding out the night's entertainment are the always-crowd-pleasing monster trucks, ensuring there's plenty of spectacle for fans of all ages.
