Tonight, October 17th, the Plymouth High School Speech and Debate Team will sponsor the Plymouth Community School Corporation School Board Candidates Night from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Lincoln Education Center's Auditorium. All seven candidates have been invited to participate.
Candidates for the Plymouth School Board are for the At-Large seat Morrie Riddle or Allison M. Shook; for the District 2 seat in West Township Steve Holm or Christopher Dean Myers; in the District 3 seat for the City of Plymouth Kurt A. Christiansen, Kris Flowers or Lisa Huff.
The speech and debate members created six questions for each candidate to respond to. These questions are based on the Indiana School Board's Core Values. Candidates will have 3 minutes to answer each of the six questions.
This is the PHS Speech and Debate Team's second time sponsoring a school board candidate night. They also held one for the 2022 school board election.
All voting members of the Plymouth Community School Corporation are invited to attend. Please do not bring signs and refrain from yelling during the event.
