The Fulton County Community Foundation has awarded a $2,500 grant to Manitou Center to support Camp Friedenswald, a three-day camp experience where participants enjoy activities such as archery, pontoon boat rides, swimming, and s'mores around the campfire while families and caregivers receive an opportunity for rest and renewal.
“MSDC-Manitou Center is sincerely grateful to the Fulton County Community Foundation for this generous grant,” said Manitou Center representative Michelle Wallace. “For nearly 60 years, Manitou Center has served the Fulton County community. We are deeply thankful for community support that helps us continue our mission of providing meaningful day services and life experiences for individuals with disabilities.”
This grant was made possible by generous donors to the Foundation’s Fulton County Community Fund. Right now, every dollar donated to the fund is matched with an additional $2, tripling the impact of every gift. Donations support meaningful projects that provide opportunities, foster inclusion, and strengthen the quality of life for individuals and families throughout Fulton County.
