The Marshall County Museum announced on GIANT fm WTCA’s “What’s Your Opinion Show”, Thursday that they are in the planning phase of a special home tour.
On Sunday, September 15th the new owners of the former Pine Tree Inn, or as many people refer to it as the Underground Railroad house at the curve on State Road 17 near the hospital.
The new owners, Tracy Blendowski and Kyle Davis, will open their doors for hourly tours beginning at 1 p.m. and ending with the final one at 4 p.m.
WTCA will release additional information as details become available.
The museum will also host the Ghost Walk this October at the museum in downtown Plymouth. This event has been so popular that this year the Ghost Tour will be held on two nights, Friday, October 25th and Saturday, October 26th. Tickets will be available October 1st.
The “Marshall County on Fire” exhibit that has been up since last November will be coming down this fall to make room for the new main-floor exhibit that will open in November. The new exhibit will feature all the Parks in Marshall County. While the museum has many photos of so many wonderful parks throughout the county, they don’t have pictures of the Bird Park that was near the Conservation Club House. Anyone who has any photos of the bird sanctuary is asked to bring them to the museum so they can make copies of the photos.
Finally, the Marshall County Museum will open their special Christmas Decoration Sale on November 1st. There are many beautiful holiday decoration of all types that have been donated and will be for sale.
