Brooke Lockett is the new president of the Northwestern Consolidated Schools board.
At the board’s first meeting of 2025 in Fairland, Lockett was unanimously approved as president for the calendar year.
Travis Hensler was approved as vice president and David Ploog was elected board secretary. Ploog, the school board president in 2024, nominated Lockett as his replacement.
The 2025 school board which oversees the operation of Triton Central schools includes Lockett, Hensler, Ploog, Karen Humphreys, Shay Tranchant, Sam Allen and Wilson Turner.
