The Lawrence Public Library Board of Trustees has approved a tentative Fiscal Year 2025 Operating Budget. The spending plan was approved unanimously during a session Tuesday night at the library in downtown Lawrenceville. The budget does include staff wage and salary increases that were recommended by the board Personnel Committee. The budget is increasing in three areas over the previous year including a HVAC project and additional funding for the popular Hoopla program. The move to pass was recommended by the board Finance Committee. The budget will now be advertised for 30 days and a public hearing held before it's formal passage in September.
