The Lawrence County Sheriff's Department (LCSD) reports that a local woman was arrested for multiple offenses after an apparent altercation Wednesday.
38-year-old Christina Gerber of Bridgeport was taken into custody and has been preliminarily charged with two counts each of Domestic Battery and Aggravated Battery after the incident. She was transported to the Lawrence County Jail in Lawrenceville and was booked in. Gerber is being held on those charges pending a detention hearing.
The LCSD picked up two wanted men Wednesday. 36-year-old Joel Corey of Lawrenceville was the subject of a Lawrence County arrest warrant, and 72-year-old John Winter of Vincennes Indiana was being sought on an out of state warrant. Both men were booked into the Lawrence County Jail and were being held there on those warrants
