A man asleep behind the wheel of a vehicle was arrested by County Police on March 26th.
Wednesday morning at 6:30 Marshall County Police were dispatched to the intersection of 15th Road and State Road 17 for reports of a vehicle stopped in the intersection with a male subject slumped over the steering wheel.
Officer Wozniak arrived on the scene and found 30-year-old Stephen A. Frain of Knox asleep behind the wheel. He was believed to be under the influence of alcohol, and Field Sobriety Testing was completed. A certified test later showed Frain to be over three times the legal limit of alcohol.
Stephen Frain was transported to the Marshall County Jail, booked in for operating with a blood alcohol content of .15% or more, and held on a $1.500 cash bond.

Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
