On Thursday, June 19th at 12 a.m., Marshall County deputies, along with Plymouth Police, Plymouth Fire, and EMS, responded to a single-vehicle accident in the 10,000 block of Muckshaw Road.
It was found that a male and a female in the red truck that went off the road had both been drinking. The male, identified as Jason Kennedy, 48, of North Plum Street in Plymouth, told Deputy Geiger he was driving his vehicle.

The female identified as 50-year-old Stacy Neff of the North Plum Street address in Plymouth was found to have methamphetamine and paraphernalia. She later fought and argued with officers and was also charged with resisting arrest and public intoxication.

Both were taken to Plymouth Hospital for jail clearance and a certified blood test for Kennedy. He tested over four times the legal limit.
Both Kennedy and Neff were transported to the Marshall County Jail. Kennedy was charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated, and Neff was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of paraphernalia, resisting arrest, and public intoxication. Both were held on $1500 cash bonds.
Readers are reminded that charging information supported by an affidavit of probable cause is merely an allegation that a crime has been committed and that there is only probable cause to believe a crime has been committed. They are presumed innocent throughout the proceedings and are entitled to be represented by counsel and entitled to a trial by jury at which the State is obligated to provide proof beyond a reasonable doubt before a judgment of guilt may be made.
