The Illinois Eastern Community College District #529 Board of Trustees took action on policy issues at their monthly session Tuesday night at Lincoln Trail College in Robinson.
They waived second readings and approved revisions on policies regarding sexual misconduct, student military status and student residency.
The moves were made to bring the district into compliance with Illinois Community College Board (ICCB) and Illinois Public Community College system rules.
The board also approved eCampus as the exclusive provider of textbooks and course materials for the IECC upon recommendation of the Business Operations Division.
Also approved was the purchase of a new scoreboard for the softball field at Wabash Valley College in Mt. Carmel.
The board also authorized chancellor Dr. Timothy Gower to continue to work with legal counsel toward the resolution of ongoing litigation.
