Howard County again has the state's highest unemployment rate.
According to recent numbers released from the Indiana Department of Workforce Development, Howard County's umployment rate in May was 4.8%. That stands a full point-and-a-half above Indiana's 3.3% and the nation's 4.3% rate.
Statewide, Pulaski County boasts the lowest unemployment rate in Indiana at just 2.3%.
