Marshall County Sheriff Matthew Hassel announced Friday that Chloe Garner, of Plymouth, has been selected by the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship Committee to receive a $750 scholarship.
The Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship Fund was established to receive, invest, and dispense funds to provide college scholarships to qualified students who are committed to pursuing an education and career in the law enforcement field. There were 40 scholarships awarded by the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association Scholarship Fund in 2024.
Chloe is a graduate of the Plymouth High School Class of 2021 and while in her senior year, she interned in the Marshall County Jail. Chloe will be starting her senior year this fall at Indiana University South Bend, majoring in criminal justice. Chloe was awarded this same scholarship from the Indiana Sheriffs’ Association in 2021 and 2023.
