The Fulton County Animal Center will host its annual Thanks “for” Giving Virtual Silent Auction.
The Animal Center is encouraging the public to donate items for the auction. By donating an item, service, or gift certificate, the center states you can directly support the 1,000+ pets who rely on the center each year.
This is more than a fundraiser. The Animal Center intends it to be an opportunity for businesses or organizations to gain exposure. With 22,000+ engaged Facebook followers, a donation will be showcased to thousands of local supporters eager to back the businesses that stand with the center.
Every dollar raised helps provide food, medical care, and adoption services, while advancing the center's mission to end the euthanasia of healthy, adoptable pets.
The auction will go live on Facebook on November 20 at a time to be determined. Items will be accepted November 1 - 17. You can drop off during regular business hours at 1540 North Wentzel Street, Rochester. Ideas include gift cards/certificates, new in the box / packaged items, event tickets, gift baskets, etc.
