Units of the Lawrence-Allison Fire Protection District, along with other agencies from Bridgeport, Flat Rock and Vincennes Township responded to a structure fire Monday afternoon. The fire was located approximately 3 to 4 miles north of Lawrenceville on Illinois Route One. The building was used to store farming equipment and was destroyed along with it's contents. No firm damage estimate was immediately available and other details surrounding the fire such as a cause remain under investigation.
