Congratulations to the Lawrence County Farm Bureau.
They, along with the Richland County Farm Bureau were the recent recipients of a prestigious award at the 2025 Illinois Agricultural Association Annual Meeting in Chicago.
The Multi-County New Horizon Award was given to representatives of both organizations for the creation of an Anhydrous Ammonia Emergency Response Preparedness Program. It provided local emergency rescue personnel with training and knowledge on how to safely handle incidents involving anhydrous ammonia.
