An officer with the Plymouth Police Department arrested an Elkhart man for speeding, driving 47 MPH in a 35 MPH zone on North Michigan Street just south of Plymouth Goshen Trail.
Officer Fisher stopped 20-year-old Franklin Canenguez Acevedo Saturday evening at about 8:30. During the traffic the Marshall County Central Dispatch Center ran a driving record and determined that he had never had a driver's license.
Canenguez-Acevedo was arrested for operator never licensed, transported to Marshall County Jail, and held until his bond was paid.
